The Swanton Chamber of Commerce is a non-profit organization that strives to build relationships with area businesses and members of our community. As a group , we work together to promote growth in Swanton and surrounding areas by hosting monthly meetings, business mixers, and community-building events. Becoming a chamber member is easy with two different levels of membership. Benefits of membership include free advertising on our website as well as our Facebook page, a listing in our business directory and opportunities to promote your business at our events. We are passionate about building new relationships with others, helping you becoming successful in Swanton and the overall preservation of the Vermont quality of life.
2024 was a great year in Swanton. A lot pf people did a ton of great work this year to help the Swanton community. The Chamber of Commerce would like to recognize those efforts with our annual Citizen of the Year Award.
The award recognizes an individual or organization who has been actively involved in the community in any number of ways over the last year. Nominees may have shown leadership and citizenship within the community with the vision to better the community.
Anyone may make a nomination. The individual or community organizations nominated should be active members of the Swanton community. They do not necessarily have to live in Swanton nor to they have to be a member of the Swanton Chamber of Commerce.
Please submit nominations using the form below. Evaluation of the nominees will be based solely upon the information submitted and providing complete information will help the judges’ evaluation of your candidate. All nominations will be kept confidential.
Submissions must be received by December 31st, 2024. Details on when and where the announcement will be made will be announced in January.
Join us for a day filled with classic cars and motorcycles, as well as special award categories. Proceeds from this event will support future community initiatives.
We invite community members to get involved. Whether through our sponsor package or other volunteering opportunities such as setting up the park, assisting with parking, selling raffle tickets, or donating items for the Silent Auction, your support is invaluable. If you prefer, you can also make a monetary donation, which will be recognized at the event.
